These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the Bokon.uk website and services, including the purchase of hardback books, paperback books and eBooks (“Products”). By accessing or using Bokon.uk, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
“Bokon.uk”, “we”, “us” and “our” refer to the operator of the website at https://bokon.uk.
1. Use of Our Website
1.1 You must be at least 18 years old or have permission from a parent/guardian to use this website and place orders.
1.2 You agree to use the site only for lawful purposes and in a way that does not infringe the rights of, restrict or inhibit anyone else’s use of the site.
1.3 We may suspend or terminate access to the site if we reasonably believe you have breached these Terms.
2. Products & Availability
2.1 We sell physical books (hardback and paperback) and eBooks (digital content).
2.2 Product descriptions, images and specifications are provided in good faith. Minor variations (e.g. cover design, edition) may occur.
2.3 All Products are subject to availability. We may limit quantities and reserve the right to discontinue any Product at any time.
3. Orders & Contract Formation
3.1 By placing an order, you are making an offer to purchase Products in accordance with these Terms.
3.2 After placing an order, you will receive an order confirmation email. This confirms we have received your order but does not guarantee acceptance.
3.3 A contract between you and us is formed when we dispatch your physical items or make your eBook available for download/access.
3.4 We may refuse or cancel an order, for example if:
- The Product is unavailable
- There is an obvious pricing or description error
- Payment authorisation fails or appears fraudulent
If payment has already been taken, we will issue a refund for any cancelled order.
4. Prices, Billing & Payment
4.1 All prices are shown in Pounds Sterling (GBP, £) and, unless stated otherwise, include UK VAT (where applicable).
4.2 The total price, including any applicable taxes, is shown at checkout before you confirm your order.
4.3 We accept the payment methods displayed at checkout. Payment is taken when you place your order.

5. Shipping, Delivery & Digital Access
5.1 We currently ship physical books only within the United Kingdom. We do not offer international shipping for physical Products.
5.2 Shipping is free for all UK orders.
5.3 Order cut-off time: 5:00 pm (UK time), Monday to Friday.
5.4 Handling time: 0–1 business days.
5.5 Estimated shipping time: 2–5 business days after dispatch. Delivery times are estimates only and may be affected by factors beyond our control.
5.6 eBooks are delivered digitally via download link, account access or email as described at checkout and are normally available shortly after successful payment.

6. Cancellations, Returns & Refunds
6.1 If you are a consumer in the UK, you may have a 14‑day legal right to cancel most online purchases of physical goods under the Consumer Contracts Regulations.
6.2 For physical books, you usually have:
- 14 days from the day after delivery to tell us you want to cancel; and
- A further 14 days to return the items.
6.3 eBooks are digital content. You may lose your right to cancel once the download or access has begun if you agreed to this at checkout.
6.4 We will provide refunds in accordance with your statutory rights and our separate Returns & Refunds Policy, which forms part of these Terms.
6.5 Your statutory rights are not affected.
7. Digital Content & Usage (eBooks)
7.1 When you purchase an eBook, you are buying a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to access and read the eBook for your personal, non-commercial use.
7.2 You must not:
- Share, resell, or distribute the eBook files publicly
- Remove or alter any copyright or digital rights information
- Circumvent or attempt to circumvent any technical protection measures
7.3 All eBooks are protected by copyright and other intellectual property rights.
8. Intellectual Property
8.1 All content on Bokon.uk, including text, images, logos, graphics, and software, is owned by us or our licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws.
